Who can benefit from speech therapy?
We treat various speech and language disorders for children, adolescents and adults. Some of these disorders include: language delay, articulation disorder, phonological disorder, stuttering, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning difficulties, selective mutism, dyslexia, Down’s syndrome, hearing impairment, voice disorders, global developmental delay and cognitive delay.
What speech-language programs do we offer?
An approach which uses the power of relationships to encourage the development of the capacities for self-regulation, engagement, communication, shared social problem solving, and creative, organized, and reflective thinking and reasoning.
Hanen
All Hanen programs involve training sessions and video-feedback coaching.
It is for parents of children under 5 years who have language delay. It recognizes the importance of involving parents in their child’s early intervention.
It is created to help parents learn the specific communication needs of their young autistic children who may benefit from social communication support.
It is designed to help educators of preschool children (ages 3-5) promote emergent literacy skills in order to learn to read and write successfully.
A direct treatment, administered by parents, for children who stutter who are younger than 6 years.
A combined direct and indirect treatment for children who stutter who are younger than 7 years and their families.
A method which uses tactile cues, such as gentle pressure on the face, to guide children to the correct movements for producing speech sounds.
A picture exchange system used to teach functional communication to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
